Summer isn't over yet—here are the events you won't want to miss this month☀️🎶:

Family Friendly

  • East Nashville Tomato 5K (August 8): Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome, and the course is stroller- and pet-friendly, so bring the whole crew!

  • Dog Nights of Summer (Thursday Nights): Pups are invited to join the humans during Thursday Night Out at Cheekwood.

  • Watermelon Festival (August 15): Live music, 21+ watermelon drinks, a kids’ zone, a puppy adoption truck, cooking demonstrations, crafts, yard games, and more. Admission is free.

  • Wilson County Fair (August 13-22): Rides, contests, fair food, vendors, and fun for the whole family.

  • Nashville SC vs. Atlético de San Luis (August 9): 7:30PM at Geodis Park.

  • Nashville Sounds vs. Indianapolis Indians (August 11-16): 6:35PM First Horizon Park.

  • Black Arts Bash: (August 15): Celebrate Black artists through music, dance, storytelling, and more.

  • Summer Shakespeare (select Thursdays through Sundays in August): A summer production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Jason Spelbring, will take place at The Bandshell at Centennial Park.

Fun for Grown-Ups

  • Augustfest 10 at East Nashville Beer Works (August 10): Celebrate ten years of East Nashville Beer Works with the annual Augustfest party.

  • Music City Brewers Festival (August 22): Enjoy beverage tastings from local, regional, national, and imported breweries at Walk of Fame Park.
